    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay great benifits it was a good company to work for if your looking to make great money and spend alot of time working.

    Cons

Large company, not employee focused. profit focused, cares less and less about safety and too much about productivity. Need to care more about employees

    Advice to Management

Worry more about safety and less about numbers. Your company is run by your employees, not by an assembly line mentality. That does not transfer well into the field.

    Pros

good place to work to get started.

Not enough opportunity to move up within the company. You must work there years before a promotion is offered.

I worked at AT&T as a contractor (More than 10 years)

    Pros

AT&T is a great company. I worked for the company for 15+ years. I later worked as a PM contracted to AT&T.

    Cons

The only con I would add is that the company's annual reduction in force can at times be extreme. As a manager I seldom understood the reason for the reduction in enough detail to explain the reasons behind the action.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent company to work for as long as your a corporate employee. Great benefits, and opportunity for growth.

    Cons

Stay away from agents, or also known as authorized dealers. Work directly for the company and you're fine.
