    The benefits are great but to be expected at a fortune 10 company.

    Cons

    AT&T is a constantly changing environment always seeming to struggle to find its identity. Unless you work directly with its core wireless business, ie. a retail store, it is a very unstable workplace. I recently left the company after being "promoted" last year, from retail into their business to business segment as a Client Solutions Executive. What once was a coveted position within the company had every one of my coworkers looking to leave. While some were looking to transfer within AT&T because of seniority, retirement, etc., most have or are looking outside the company. A culture of unethical business practices, no work life balance, and overall poor management is what made me finally leave.

    Advice to Management

    Major changes are necessary to prevent further loud of great talent. The lack of care for employees will alwalso trump pay/benefits in the end.

    Good benefits and health insurance cost for full-time employees only!

    Cons

    Poor salary pay, health insurance for part-time employees is extremely high, management is company stores are beyond rude to their employees and customers, work life family balance in not offered at AT&T.

    Advice to Management

    Managers at AT&T are very rude to their customers and employees in the company stores, something needs to take place if AT&T want to reduce turnover in the COR.

    Pros

    As an outsources CSR, I always found a distinct difference in professionalism between those working for AT&T Corporate versus those of us in the call centers they hired. As a professional customer service rep myself, I have always been impressed with those individuals working directly for AT&T. Extremely willing to help and very professional. I would love to work for AT&T.

    Cons

    Because I was an outsourced Agent working for AT&T through Teleperformance, I felt my skills were unrecognized and unfulfilled by AT&T even though I branded their Company hundreds of times a week.

    Moreover, some of the call centers AT&T utilizes are out of the Country, and I found their level of customer care to dance from uncaring to not entirely ethical. This was very disheartening to me, considering American Telephone & Telegraph built it's Brand on the backbone of America.

    Advice to Management

    Bring back AT&T;s customer service to the U.S. Even better, bring it back in-house! Hire people of good caliber, bond them and enforce ethical business practices proactively, rather than reactively.

    I was only hired for a temp job but was payed and trained good. People were great to work with.

    Cons

    After not being able to work the whole term I was hired for they did not help to try and find another job within the company.

    They work with you on the hours and position. The Bonus is ok if you don't have to keep asking about it when its not on your check.

    Friendly people, a lot of learn about the industry, growing industry with good prospects, pays well especially if you are a contractor and got your own firm. hint hint

    Cons

    Not well organized, a lot of bias work just to meet HQ targets. no proper introduction of new employees - you were supposed to find out everything on your own, management can be silly at times where they limit your tasks and expect you to take initiatives on your own

    Focus more on what is relevant
