    Excellent work environment with specific attention to safety out-of-town job assignment opportunities for overtime in the local area is trained in all aspects of company plant and repair

    Cons

    A lot of hours away from home and family. Working in severe and extreme weather,As well as dangerous environment which require special safety precautions and measures

    Advice to Management

    Employees need more opportunity to receive bonuses in the form of winning contest keeping people involved in promoting comeraderie

    Pros

    The benefits were good, we got vacation time right away and free shirts.

    Cons

    Terrible hours, management won'twork with you on personal issues, management hovers over you while you are with customers, management is demeaning, you are micromanaged, commission constantly changes for the better of the company not the employee and the work environment is toxic because of management.

    Advice to Management

    I would suggest for them not to take there job so personal and try to fire people just because you don’t like them.

    Discounts on services. Decent pay.

    Cons

    The company has changed a lot, they are only interested in pushing sales and not disclosing the proper information to the customer. Providing good customer service is not a concern for them anymore. The information the call center gives customers is not the same as the stores. They are eliminating the need for full time employees. They are eliminating many jobs in the United States. Sadly, you deal with a lot of angry and frustrated people. Retail hours.

    Advice to Management

    The managers they started promoting are not caring. They do not have any compassion for the employees and their lives. They only care about a number. The company used to make me feel valued as an employee. I now know I am only there to make a quota and work holidays and weekends.

    Decent wages. Decent benefits. Nothing outstanding. Maybe the amount of paid time off you can earn based on time in service.

    Cons

    Absolutely no work-life balance. Management hasn’t got a clue, because upper management and board of directors are all completely against each other. This so-called communications company has no clue about the direction of this once well respected company. The CEO, is so far out in left field, completely forgetting that his own brother’s job title with the company is going away because of the decisions Randy has made. Randall Stephenson is a political puppet using his own liberalism for personal gain within the company. THERE IS NO CERTAINTY that technician work is heavy or light each day. Nobody has any idea what is going on in the decision making rooms. 1st line managers and technicians are being laid off monthly. This company has absolutely tanked. You can’t think of AT&T as a place to retire from anymore. Good luck.

    Advice to Management

    Get your heads out of the ground. Start standing up to your directors and area managers. This company will continue to have high churn until somebody’s gets the courage to stand up for the front-line employee. Stop playing into the political junk and supervise like you are supposed to. First line managers have been turned into technicians on salary and all they do is sit in useless safety meetings. YOU CANNOT PREVENT ACCIDENTS! Safety is not something that is learned, it is something that is done. GET A GRIP AT&T!

    Pros

    You get paid well if you do well.

    Cons

    You are always on the chopping block
    No matter how great you are they will fire you if they don't like you
    If a customer comes in with a complaint expect to be coached and end up being you're word vs the customers.

    Advice to Management

    Realize that you will always have a high turnover until you change you're culture inside the stores and when it comes to any paper work make it mandatory that the customer recieves a email confirmation.

    Decent pay rate and benifits

    Cons

    mgmt is always looking for something to bust you for. No running company vehicle for personal comfort PLEASE I've been working outside in 20 below blowing snow! They WILL fire you while on workers comp leave. They will not pay thousands of dollars of medical bills(and destroy your credit) for workers comp even when its court ordered.

    Advice to Management

    work a week in a non management position.
