I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Lots of groups, or "clubs", that help diversify the workplace. Active in the community, more or less depending on where you live. Most everyone, at management level and above, appear to enjoy being there.

    Cons

If you are on the front-line talking to customers, either via phone or chat, don't expect to be treated as a mature, free-thinking adult.

    Advice to Management

It's understandable to want certain topics covered with customers, but no one likes being a part of a scripted conversation.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Be more engaged. You can't help if you don't know what's going on and you can't always rely on your employees to be forthcoming. Most of the time, employees don't say anything because they don't feel like anything will happen anyway. You have to get in there and see for yourself sometimes too.
