I worked at AT&T full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Very good company to work for and great benefits

    Cons

The only thing I can say is a con for working there is they no longer match your 401 payment the way they used to.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what your associates tell you, they deal with the customer every day and have the best knowledge of what it is going to take to keep the customer versus going to the competition.

Manager care about their employees, you can also advance to a management position if you work hard enough. Put forth the effort and you will win

    I worked at AT&T

    Pros

Hours and benefits were good. CSR good position for those who love sales.

    Cons

Forced to sale affiliate products. Call center. During training, you're led to believe that the position is to address the needs, issues, or complaints of the consumer. However, position mostly consisted of sales instead of actually focusing on resolving customer issues/complaints.

    Advice to Management

    More training, especially sales.

I have been working at AT&T for more than 2 years

    Pros

Insurance was really good.. salary was on the low side but you could make that up with your commission .

    Cons

the salary was on the low side.. commission structure would change about every other month which always seemed to be in favor of the company and not it's staff.

    Advice to Management

Be honest if something is ridiculous don't try to sugarcoat it and serve it to staff on a silver platter. And.. Be in touch with your employees.. they are more than just dollar signs in your eyes.
