I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Union for non- management, good pay, and benefits.

    Cons

Managment and Company babysit employees and make the job harder than it should be. ATT says they care about their employees and customers but they don't, they just care about money and shareholders.

    Advice to Management

Train us, give us the tools and the work and we will make the customer happy. Stop shipping jobs overseas to underpaid and undertrained customer service representatives. When you have a good process don't change it every 3 months. If idling our vehicles cost so much money when it is hot or cold outside, then turn off your AC and heat in your offices. Work outside in 90 or 0 degrees and I bet you would like to be comfortable too.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Some great people thatI worked with in multiple departments.

    Cons

The job is never secure, they can come tell you that yoyr job title is being wiped out, they close an office, sell a party of the business. It's always scary, now I have to find somewhere else to work and start at the bottom. I thought I was going to retire from there. Very sad indeed.

    Advice to Management

Try harder to keep your good people because ut matters more than a bottom line. Customers will suffer from the lack of knowledge that you run out the door. Loyalty should mean something.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great compensation and benefits. There is some great room for growth within the company, if you are willing to work hard. It has been a great experience for me.

    Cons

Overall all there are not really any cons. There is a lot of pressure but that is to be expected in such a competitive market

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company works well until it does not. I was mislead about when to sign up for health benefits and was unable to get them for over a year even though my manager made numerous attempts to help me but nothing. They also told me that because my name in the pc system was Phil but my actual name was Philip that I was not able to reduce any employee discounts for internet, cable, in store Merch, and cell service. They made me pay full price for over 2 years!!!

    Cons

They don't care about you unless you lie or cheat to make a sale. If you make them money it's all good but struggle a little bit and they throw you out for going to the bathroom or any little thing.

    Advice to Management

Focus in customers and not on your bank accounts.
