I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great and friendly place to work. So much so that it actually doesn’t feel like work at times. The amount of care for their employees once hired is outstanding.

    Cons

No room for mistakes. At least not to many of them as with every job, but it seems to be emphasized more here.

    Advice to Management

Hire all new Hiring management, because the process takes too long because the managers themselves slack and therefore you have to wait longer in the process to even hear back from them.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great environment and Active scene its Tech based there is a great Benefits package with
Tuition reimbursement if you take advantage of it. I have the best Coworkers

    Cons

There is a sense of uncertainty at all times with the job, continuous layoffs have put Every one on edge most have been. Looking for new jobs. It's bad for the cultural environment when everyday you hear about layoffs and know you might be next.
Also, WAYYYY too many chiefs. And some who should be evaluated because they are more a burden with their precense than help.
They cut commission rate or more accurately put a cap so employees aren't trying as hard.

    Advice to Management

More so to the owner, you're losing the vibe you used to have.

    Pros

Great discounts and bonuses if sales met.
Decent pay if you meet sales goals
Schedule choice based upon seniority n

    Cons

    Union.
Point system for calling off - 8 call outs n your fired.
10 sick days but after 8 your fired. Sick days = calling off
    Sales goals change monthly
Each store is different but favoritism is serious!
No direct Human Resource n no direct manager cares if your sick.
If your a 7 minutes late might as well take a half day!

    Advice to Management

Stop favoritism. Acknowledge when employees are sick n don’t give points!
