Former Intern - Data Engineer in Atlanta, GA

I worked at AT&T as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Provide talks for interns in summer. Relatively high rate for intern. The mentors there are great.

    Cons

There are too many meetings per day. You have limited time working from discussions.

    Advice to Management

Not much to say. Internship is too short to give constructive advices.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

It's great to be OUT of AT&T

    Cons

Negative, juvenile management. I had 23 years of perfect attendance, and was NEVER recognized for it. My first level in LNS spent 4 or more years trying to fire me on trumped up charges. Thank God it didn't work. I am SO HAPPY to be a former employee. The defeatist mentality used by Management at Mesa III was horrendous. You know who you are, and you should be ASHAMED!!! I do forgive you for what you did to me, and others who didn't deserve it.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and see that non-management is the backbone of AT&T. We used to work together for the success of the company, but those days are gone. Treat your subordinates with respect, and stop trying to beat us out of our pensions!!!!!
