    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, good pay, great people to work with.

    Cons

Was a term employee, all were let go to save money for acquisitions. This is actually what we were told. Customer service moved overseas.

    Advice to Management

Do better by your hard-working loyal employees.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My store team is great. 401 k match

    Cons

Low pay. Overworked. No work life balance. Hardly see my kids. Keep cutting commissions. Raising health costs. Most places full time means 40 hours minus one hour lunches. Expect to work 45-50 hours or more. 55 with lunches. Point system so if you get the flu expect to get fired.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to run a company that treats their employees with respect.

I have been working at AT&T (More than a year)

    Pros

My location is very laid back and like the people I work with.

    Cons

Point system for time (which is fine since I'm on time) but management just walks in whenever they feel like it. This makes working very difficult when you need help or manager codes. Very unprofessional. The way we get paid now mainly relies on Tv and home security, so our commission checks have been cut by 75%. No way to make money. Expectations are low compared to other wireless companies I have worked with which is not motivating to sell the terrible TV service. My previous wireless company only hired those with 4 year degrees, now I am surrounded with morons. Pay sucks, no benefits or vacation for six months when I had both immediately at previous company. Schedules are based on seniority and with no vacation or personal time for half a year you work whatever they make you. I had to work my sons 6th birthday.

    Advice to Management

Go back to old comp system. People are quitting making no money now. Hire more responsible managers.

I worked at AT&T as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

I really can not add anything to the pros section except that the position is remote.

    Cons

AT&T is very disorganized. Management makes an effort to please their management versus getting the job done correct.y. There is a lot of in fighting between departments about financial issues. Infiltrated by outsources who drive the rates and salaries down.

    Advice to Management

To attract steady talent raise your rates. Keep the jobs in the United States.
