I have been working at AT&T (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It has a great 401 K match along with a great work/life balance. Furthermore, it is a great place to get a start and the work is not too hard. Furthermore, although sales and hitting quota is important it is rather hard to get fired unless you screw up big time!

    Cons

Too many cumbersome internal processes that make hitting quota too difficult and also makes clients extremely unhappy. The billing is awful and it can be hard to move around the company because you are told one thing and that is not always what ends up happening. Furthermore, they constantly preach that they are a technology company, however they are slow to adopt technology and they are not all that innovative.
Furthermore, there is no culture here.

    Advice to Management

    Keep your word and innovate.

    Pros

AT&T provides great industry training and knowledge, they do a wonderful job ensuring each person at least knows the basics of what their job is

    Cons

Too large of a company, its easy to get lost in the bowl. Not a lot of room for advancement when it comes to certain areas of the business.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more insight into how they can work on their treatment of employees. Also the lower level managers need to be held more accountable to their jobs.
