I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

AT&T believes that it's who you are and not only what you do is what makes the company thrive. Also, there are plenty of opportunities for growth and promotion. AT&T 's ERG Conference is amazing! Diversity at its finest and lots of learning and networking. This was my first year attending and it definitely won't be my last. I met a lot of good people.

    Cons

More women are needed in Field Operations. I am one of the few women working as a Uverse Prem Technician

    Advice to Management

Believe in your team more than numbers. When you do so, the numbers will take care of itself.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Will be working alone, manage yourself for most of the day. The job never really gets boring, there will always be new situations and environments to work in.

    Cons

Internal company processes are sometimes a head scratcher. Dealing with customers can be pretty rough, especially because the companies customer service processes are so compartmentalized, you won't be able to fix a lot of customers complaints.

    Advice to Management

Streamline processes, eliminate points of failure in employee and customer facing systems where possible. Give your technicians access to the tools you outsource to tier 2 and the Philippines.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A company that gives you everything you need. They will take care of you as long as you are good for the company.

    Cons

Things are constantly changing and you have to stay on top of it. Some contracts that pass don't seem fair to everyone. It's a VERY competitive company to get a higher position. Big company equals lots of competitors.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Training on sales is great, health plan benefits, 401k. If you have a bachelor degree it helps on your hourly pay. You do get a salary increase every 6 months.

    Cons

Work/life balance, it's retail so don't expect to have the best social life style. Recently had a child, no paternity leave for that just unpaid time off.
