    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

good pay, benefits, good people, good business with future although highly competitive

    Cons

bureaucratic environment. Things move like molasses, their Atlanta business is going the way of the dinosaurs. A little depressing. People here are just praying to keep their jobs. Just not a healthy vibe

    Advice to Management

It is a tough business but please ensure that employees are happy. Please provide basic facilities like coffee, flex work options, don't treat us like just another statistic, help maintain facilities, pay for maintenance. My office is filthy... no amount of complaints have helped fix it. I guess I need to take matters in my own hands and rent a steam vacuum.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, tons of opportunities because of the size and scale of the company, and a widely recognized brand.

    Cons

Unbelievable bureaucratic and poorly integrated systems resulting from myriad mergers. Impossible to get fired means low performers stick around. Stack ranking is used, which means high performing teams are punished relative to other groups. The future for offices outside of Dallas and El Segundo is unclear.

    Advice to Management

    Dump stack ranking!
