I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

-Decent Pay -Good benefits -Great retirement benefits if you can last that long

-Lack of job security with quarterly layoffs -Very political, leadership isn't accountable to what they do instead who they know. -Innovation is stalled by 20 year process and procedures -Systems don't work together and neither do the people. Silos are everywhere.

    Advice to Management

    1. Stop telling employees they are the least important asset of the company. 2. Upgrade systems so employees can use the data that is being collected. 3. Start looking past who you have known for years and take a look at newer employees. 4. Stop intimidating employees into rating the company a 9 or 10 on employee surveys. 5. Down size low performers rather than people you don't know.
