I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good compensation overall. Work can be interesting. Company is very innovative and getting into new and different lines of business.

    Cons

Opportunity to advance is only available in hub areas, like Dallas and Atlanta. If you aren't willing to move on your own dime, AT&T is not willing to help. Long work hours and poor work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Please integrate the different parts of the company faster. Please continue to be innovative. Please stop coaching employees on their candid feedback. Help us move up in the company.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Base pay is good, they promote within the company, union protection, commission is decent, provide a lot of training.

    Cons

They don't care about their employees, Constantly looking for ways to cut commission, they make you meet goals that are not actually in-line with providing the best services/service to their customers, weekend and evening hours, many sales goals are unattainable in today's celluar markets, they move around managers to often.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to cut your empolyee's income. It is the only job I know that tenured employees are making far less than when they started.
