Poor management, poor customer support, failing company, layoffs, company and union lies. Stupid metrics, too much change. I could go on but you should follow my advice...find somewhere else to work.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discounts of services, Sunday and some Saturday's off (depending on location), and 3 raises a year. Insurance is decent but not the best I've had.

    Cons

Management, unrealistic quotas, management, most of the customers things you owe them something, and MANAGEMENT. The individual store managers aren't too bad, but the higher ups making the big bucks are horrible! The gulf states region is going down and FAST.

    Advice to Management

Try helping your employees succeed instead of looking for ways to fire them. We all have families and a life just like you do. We're all human and here for a paycheck!

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Awesome cellphone discount a work device given to you for business purposes. Great medical insurance The hourly pay is decent. The company gives you money twice a year to buy work clothes. .

    Cons

Very high micromanaging. Goals are constantly rising with lower and capped commission. The current commission plan is the worst At&t has ever seen.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the reps. A manager told me flat out the companies doesn't care about their employees only their revenue. Try to give us work life balance.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, great atmosphere. There is good feedback from managers, and they resolve problems quickly. The company keeps you updated on pretty much everything thats going on, and they have great benefits.

    Cons

The constantly increasing sales goals suck. That combined with the responsibility of selling landline services put me over the edge. It would have been easier if I wasnt a full time college student.

    Advice to Management

Y'all are great, but perhaps better employee meetings.
