    I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Independent work and work-from-home opportunities in IT provide a good work-life balance for employees outside AT&T core data centers. As a work-from-home employee, I give the extra time that I would normally be commuting if I worked in a traditional office - because I want to excel for my Team and the company.

    Cons

    No job stability - Mid level (4-6) management are constantly fighting to build empires to look good to their upper managers. This isn't always in line with direction from CEO. In 2019 this means dismissing all work-from-home employees outside core "Collaboration Zones" in the US. This is disrupting the business and people's lives. This is also fostering an overall feeling of mistrust throughout the entire company. There...

    Advice to Management

    Manage your people and let the people manage your business! Mass resource actions of 2018/2019 are stripping the business of valuable skills and stressing the remaining employees with picking-up the workload. Things are breaking in the Services groups and upper level management is blind to this breakage.
