I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)
The management seeks overworked, commitments are always delayed. things that should take weeks take months go get done.
The companies cutting back, and employee's suffer the most with being understaffed, overworked, and having to work through your lunch as a manager is an everyday occurrence.
Advice to Management
Start treating employee's as value adding, and treating employee's like they are expendable will eventually cause you to loose all the talent in your organization.

Opportunity to handle the team in absence of the Manager, helps our people management skills too.
Resolving different issues with different resolutions.
Handling SEV issues and bridges.
No downsides working with AT&T, every day is a good learning experience. We tend to learn more things with different issues which we come across.
