I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not stuck behind a desk with manager breathing down your neck.

    Cons

Hard labor for the pay. A lot of frustrating days. Training for job is not the reality when you hit the field. Processes are built of double standards.

    Advice to Management

Sympathize with your technicians struggles rather than applying pressure based on metrics.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Days go by very quickly.

    Cons

    Days go by very quickly.

    Advice to Management

Management was good, however, the upper level treatment of management seemed disconcerting at times. Maybe allow freer daily work reporting structure for more successful "newbie" managers. Excellent opportunity for advancement, however, maybe look away from union / non-union restricting. Also, kudos on the consensus approach to innovation. Overall, great company!

    I worked at AT&T part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay for part time work if you are a good sales person and can push the products that are important at the time

    Cons

Too much drama, always lessening the comps, trying to screw you out of as much money as possible.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your sales people bad because they are your front line. Don't keep changing the comps to pay them less. Promote based on merit and not nepotism.
