    Pros

Great company hourly sucks but commission if you’re good makes up most of your money

    Cons

If you don’t hit the ridiculous numbers they throw at you. You just don’t get paid.

    Advice to Management

Lower the numbers to realistic numbers.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits, job security. at least when you are on vacations nobody call you!!!!!!.

    Cons

Management, company culture, Micro-Management. Manager have no clue how to manage people with respect. Looks like the CEO, Directors and Area managers are the ones that push this policy to managers. Even if you are dying you cannot call in sick. Everything is about their metrics even if you don't do your job.

    Advice to Management

Management should treat employees as humans being,

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - AT&T matches up to 6% of your 401K plan
    - Health insurance covers very well, includes dental, vision and disability
    - Discount up to 50% on monthly services, but only 20% off on some accessories
    - Opportunities to get good commission from sales referrals

    Cons

    - Every year the benefits are less than before and the bonuses are more difficult to get, because of excessive rules and poor communication in between departments

    Advice to Management

We can find out better ways to do everything without creating fear on everyone. People love what they do, but when no one is happy the results definitely are not the best.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company isn't going anywhere, immediate company and resume recognition, ALL safety and work materials (state of the art) are provided. Pay is decent if you can stick it out (4 yr payscale). Potentially good pay for people with NO technical experience.

    Cons

You are the BOTTOM of the field workforce. All negativity in the company rolls downhill FAST and right into your lap. While they pay is good, you are the lowest payed of the field techs, and you enjoy the MOST ACCOUNTABILITY for any issues in plant and filed electronics. Job is performance based and micro management is rampant. Many people quit the manager way before they quit the job. Other tech classes make considerably more ($30+/hr), enjoy better benefits (optional OT), better contractual protection, less customer contact, and can bump you out of your position essentially leaving you unemployed if they need a job.

    Advice to Management

Your largest tech force needs SUPPORT. Just combine the Service Techs and the Wire Techs already they literally almost do the exact same job. Give Wire Techs full contract protection.

    Pros

Great Company to work! Payment great, benefits great! work environment great.

    Cons

Favoritism for employees! The way of your work is value is using a survey that a customer needs to reply. and if by any chance the review is great but by mistake they put 1 instead of 10 your rating will be the worst in the store and bring your commission down

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees better, there is a lot of favoritism coming from managers to employees.
