I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Money and discounts are very good bribes to keep you in it longer.

    Cons

Everything else! You are a number. They “say” one thing do another. So deseptive—So unethical. Encouageing more lies. The liars are revealed to upper Management and it gets swept under the rug. Zero care about customers. When you try to help a Customer and need another groups help, it becomes a fight.

I worked at AT&T full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Name recognition. Innovative products. A cutting edge company that has always lead the way but it has lost its own way somewhere between iPhone exclusivity loss and Directv. You don’t have to be the biggest to be the best, word of mouth and happy employees speak louder than a free Apple TV or HBO

    Cons

Almost everything now days. The oldest company in America used to treat employees like family, now it’s like take it or leave it...everyone’s replaceable. No, we are not!

I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

AT&T embraces diversity in every way Reasonably secure employment (although in IT, you must now be in Bothell WA, El Segundo CA, or Dallas TX) Decent training available

    Cons

If a decision is made at a high level, you have no access to address/change In a company of 330k there is a degree to which you are a number Cuts in tuition reimbursement
