    Pros

    Great sense of community present

    AT&T bought out and sucks

    Advice to Management

I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice salary, nice benefits, overall good place to work

    Cons

Angry customers who are often too angry to listen to options for resolving issues.

    Advice to Management

Prior to AT&T buying DirecTV overtime was offered with additional $5-10/hr compensation on top of the OT pay. Forcing overtime at hours of AT&T's choosing w/o additional compensation is not beneficial for gaining loyalty to the company.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are pro union which normally means that pay will increase following collective bargaining. Job security is also something that AT&T is pretty adamant about due to their enormous attrition rates.

    Cons

After the Directv acquisition AT&T came in and to save a quick buck they stripped down our employee benefits enormously compared to what Legacy Directv employees were provided. They're also very hard on management which in turn causes them to pressure and micro-manage agents horrendously.

    Advice to Management

Reinstate Directv's mission of "Happy employees lead to happy customers" instead of the other way around. Make employees your priority again.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Really focused on work/life balance and helping every employee be happy and healthy all around. Great benefits, awesome CEO and C-level team. Always feel empowered to be myself at work and that makes all the difference for me.

    Cons

Area Managers and Directors in Montana only care about looking good for their bosses and ignore employees' needs. Company wants everyone to feel comfortable and confident at work, the leaders in Montana definitely don't care about that.

    Advice to Management

Create and execute a program to help these leaders transform into real leaders at an awesome company. And make sure it sticks since they're used to playing the game to look good instead of being good

    Pros

Opportunity for advancement and nice building to work in. Spacious, bright, big windows, cheerful, comfortable.

    Cons

It's a job, I have to work their schedule, and do not get paid enough to afford a house in my area.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking at the health surveys and suggestions, then do what you reasonably can to improve the employee experience.

    Pros

Good benefits. Great people to work with

    Cons

Management lacks a backbone. Seems like they are scared of the changes coming with the ATT acquisition. If the management seems scared, what do you expect from your front line employees?

I have been working at AT&T (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work associates are usually very accommodating.

    Cons

Perks that made the job bearable are disappearing such as green time. Time off the phones for training, team building activities, or just moral boosts are all but gone. Resources are becoming convoluted as the two companies merge and as policies change.
