    I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great commission and starting hourly pay. If you like sales, and wireless telecommunications, then this is a great company to work for. I worked for an authorized retailer not a corporate location.

    Cons

    As with ALL wireless companies, they are not very LOYAL to their employees. If you miss sales quota once or twice you're pretty much gone, and even if you do your best and excel at your quotas, they can find ANY LITTLE reason to fire you at will. I have worked for three wireless companies in the past and was "let go" for stupid little things, but the real reason was just to let me go because I had hit the maximum... hourly pay, and for them it's cheaper to start over than to keep paying their experienced workers more hourly wages.

    I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    The company still has a robust telecommunications network.

    Cons

    The network has been falling into disrepair for the last 10 years due to a lack of infrastructure repair or replacement and a lack of technicians.

    Advice to Management

    It is the network stupid. No technicians, No NETWORK!!

    I have been working at AT&T

    Pros

    The pay is the only real reason to work for this company.

    Cons

    Over the past 2 years i've continually been paid less commision while being asked to sell more. Commisions get cut about 3 times a year. Now they say that Mobility isn't a wireless store anymore. Focus of management has shifted from wireless to 100% wireline.

    Advice to Management

    They say the customer rules but it's really not true in this company. Traffic count and accesory bundles are not the way to keep this company going.
