    If you are searching for a company with excellent pay and benefits, room and opportunity for growth, in a fast paced, and diversified environment, this is the company for you! AT&T does not stop with growing and educating its employees though, this company carries that practice into the very communities it serves. The many employee engagement groups within the organization provide outreach and support within the communities we serve.

    I am proud to work for a company that not only allows me the opportunity to volunteer all over the country, but actually encourages it!

    Cons

    For the hardworking, goal-driven employee there really are no downsides

    Pros

    Pay raises are very good. You almost top out within a few years. Decent Equipment is provided for you at no cost

    Cons

    So many people compete for one position that may be open across the country. It is seniority based regardless of where you are from

    Pros

    Great sense of security as for as the company goes but the sense of security for the employee is not there.

    Cons

    The company, which once cared about their employees, no longer does (in the eyes of the employees). So much for Employee Loyalty

    Do what is best for your team.

    Mobility, training offered, quality of working environment, empowerment, working from virtual locations and new technology offered by our company the environment is ever learning

    Cons

    There aren't many cons with working for AT&T, I personally love my job and the current atmosphere but I can say that Some leadership jobs are only in Texas but not all

    Pros

    It allowed me to support my family getting by ok; barely middle class. AT&T embraces diversityin the work environment, benefits used to be very good, now they are only fair. Thanks to the labor union Communication Workers of America for fighting to keep the workplace fair. Co-workers are very close like family.

    Cons

    Very rigid environment, not unlike parochial school. Micromanagement was intense. Follow the rules give them what they want whether it makes sense or not and you can hold on to your job until the next lay-off.

    Employee lives matter.

    Good Pay
    Good PTO
    Team like atmosphere.
    Goals and quotas were obtainable and the managers were great and helped coach you along the way

    Cons

    your work life balance is not the best. Retail hours are ok, however you do sometimes work 6 days a week to keep up with customer needs

    Advice to Management

    Keep coaching employees to do the best they can do, one on ones, weekly meeting and making sure the work environment stays very team like. It does help sales

    Lots of responsibility, lead large teams, high energy environment, new challenges every day

    Cons

    Underpaid, lack of career path for retail individuals to get outside of retail, many folks outside retail environment don't view retail experience as huge plus.

    Provide RSMs with opportunities outside retail and help bridge the gap between retail/non-retail.

    Pros

    I can't think of any other than the pay, but this section requires twenty words, so I have to keep filling.

    Cons

    I used to have a good job with this company, but they pushed me to a terrible one. I have since transferred more than once. Each subsequent job was OK to start, but eventually was rotten. My perception is that if there is a good job left in the company, they will mess with it until it's miserable.

    Advice to Management

    I feel that management will not listen to advice, even though there is a so-called employee engagement survey. This company is too far gone from morality and ethics, even though they enforce a Code of Business Conduct on their employees. Management is so abusive that everyone around me hates them. The ONLY reason people stay is for the UNION negotiated pay and benefits.
