    Pros

Company advanced my skill set and helped to further me from a sales executive to a regional sales manager over the course of eight years.

    Cons

Unfortunate decisions were made to keep DirecTV people involved when the acquisition happened.

    Advice to Management

Analyze those in leadership positions more consistently.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits package included medical, dental and vision. Company matched 401k plan. Friendly co-workers. Excellent pay, clean safe work enviroment.

    Cons

Oppressive work enviroment with managers micro-managing every move
unrealistic sales goals that force employees to be less than honest about adding unwanted services to customer accounts. Mandatory overtime given at last moments notice, some managers where known to pick on employees because of their own insecurites and unhappiness with their own job.

    Advice to Management

Realize that call center representatives are the front line employees and they deserve respect and not be subjected to abusive management styles.

    Pros

Its AT&T a company with a brand everyone knows

    Cons

If you come in a sales person don't expect to go anywere but sales. Promotions are based on who's a## you kiss. You could be an under performing sales person and still make it for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the skill employees have. Identify employees skill sets and allow them to be in positions that will benifit from these skills
