I worked at AT&T full-time for more than a year
Pros
The AT&T Outfits are cool to wear and you can wear tennis shoes since your on your feet literally all day , the allowance to buy items is not out of your own pocket. Customers who are patient can be refreshing to talk to while you help them.
Cons
Where do I begin! Mgt. is horrible at training it is a sink or swim environment and they do not care because they are use to a high turn over so your just a number in their eyes because they only want to train who they think will succeed and will not help development of your skills. Behind close doors employees will talk behind your back to make themselves look like they are doing helpful work but really they are covering...

Learn that business is like a Cake , you have to treat the bottom layer important to build up the fancy icing and all the toppings or your company will never get great customer service! When your treated just like a number it is hard to have a smile on your face trying to sale AT&T Products. Engage with a winner attitude to help out a young sales rep , don't just worry about development of your favorite hires

Pros
The company was good to me, excellent pay and benefits, provided many perks and opportunities.
Cons
The company is rapidly changing to compete with other companies and the technological advances that are being made every day, however it is doing so at the expense of a lot of it's employees. Some would say that's called attrition, however the employees who have been loyal and given their lives to the company is not receiving the same in return.
