    Pros

Good Benefits, Good Pay, Fun Work

    Cons

Miscommunication among management, The face of AT&T through all their mishaps, so prepare to deal with unsatisfied customers.

    Advice to Management

A telecommunications company should have no problems effectively communicating with itself.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The AT&T Outfits are cool to wear and you can wear tennis shoes since your on your feet literally all day , the allowance to buy items is not out of your own pocket. Customers who are patient can be refreshing to talk to while you help them.

    Cons

Where do I begin! Mgt. is horrible at training it is a sink or swim environment and they do not care because they are use to a high turn over so your just a number in their eyes because they only want to train who they think will succeed and will not help development of your skills. Behind close doors employees will talk behind your back to make themselves look like they are doing helpful work but really they are covering thier behinds! Never will have a weekend of and if you have any emergency you will get point system added on your record. Don't plan on any realistic life situations happening like your kid getting sick , flat tire , or running late you only get 5 t0 7 points and your fired... This job really is for like a high school kid who lives at home with their parents and no bills no rent so you can get a taste of the retail world.

    Advice to Management

Learn that business is like a Cake , you have to treat the bottom layer important to build up the fancy icing and all the toppings or your company will never get great customer service! When your treated just like a number it is hard to have a smile on your face trying to sale AT&T Products. Engage with a winner attitude to help out a young sales rep , don't just worry about development of your favorite hires

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good pay, benefits, discounts on devices, and discounts on renting cars etc.

    Cons

They dont care if your mom died they want you to work, never enough coverage for breaks and lunces management allows customers to treat you in any type of way someone is always trying to find something to fire you about at&t has the biggest turnovers in the retail store only a few last more than 2 years.

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees, treat everyone the same and actually know your role, focus on everyone instead of just your sales rep, and stop swindling customers into buying things for your own commission because they always come back pissed at the ssrs! wondering why their bill is so high

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company was good to me, excellent pay and benefits, provided many perks and opportunities.

    Cons

The company is rapidly changing to compete with other companies and the technological advances that are being made every day, however it is doing so at the expense of a lot of it's employees. Some would say that's called attrition, however the employees who have been loyal and given their lives to the company is not receiving the same in return.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The salary and benefits such as pension and 401k were great. The number of vacations and paid days off were generous.

    Cons

The worst part was management. Some of the managers only seemed to care about meeting the numbers even if not honestly attained and as a result the customers suffer.

    Advice to Management

Customers are people and not just numbers. Work more honestly and with more integrity.

    Pros

Great experience, company provided tools and training, work in different areas, good benefits, can network with others, freedom to work indepently. Can work in partners at times

    Cons

Constantly working, not a lot of support from management, can be very demanding, set schedules, no part-time, very hard to transfer to different areas, management plays favorites.

    Advice to Management

Be fair, treat employees as people, communicate instead of just being a puppet for the company, tell upper management what your employees are saying and need
