I worked at AT&T
The current health benefits are fantastic.
The union will protect all union employees whether they are deserving or not. Next to a violent action, it is almost impossible for management to release anyone from duty. The union stands in the way of getting employee production at a rate to benefit the company.
Advice to Management
The union employees take advantage of AT&T's current handling of the FMLA law and the sick pay running concurrent. Sick pay should be limited and monitored heavily. Employees being paid for headaches every week is not a way to save money for the company as a whole or the consumer.AT&T2008-09-07
