    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large vision. Extensive network. Resources. And an ability to execute on a global scale.

Financial plans extend out to a large resource area.

Large bureaucracy. Poor integration and lack of vision in executing details effectively.

Very focused on roi and outsourcing. Often integration at the point of concept but not execution

Development opportunities. AT&T offers several college recruiting programs like general internships, leadership development, summer management, financial leadership & sales apprenticeships. Cons

The problem at AT&T is that when getting their numbers and quotas, they forget they are dealing with humans and not robots. They claim they have a tough time getting skilled workers,

    Advice to Management

human capital is much more important than financial capital, because if you don't treat your people right you will not continue to profit.
