I worked at AT&T for more than a year

      Pros

Medical, leave, website easy to use

      Cons

Keep good records, get everything in writing, low compensation, false cultures, business driven, inaccurate payroll-keep all records till 1 year later, AT&T will send you a over payment letter and threaten collections, certification and training reimbursement are not as simple as promised, gives lots employees the run-around, new contract between different depts took over 4 months and AT&T renigged on the back...

I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Great customers, lots of opportunities if you know the right people.

      Cons

Horrible communication across different parts of the organization. They expect you to get stuff done and are put in unsafe situations while trying to get it done still. Work is a balancing act and we haven't had a raise in years. So if you get hired , ask for the maximum you can get because you get a raise for a while as an entry level tech.

      Advice to Management

Actually try to help out the techs instead of throwing your weight around. Management has two faces, one face shows that they care and they're all about the rules and safety. The other face is all about the numbers and getting the job done and getting your numbers up. We know you have a lot on your plate, but don't have a bad day and then take it out on the techs like some supervisors do.

      Positive Outlook

I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

There is a lot to learn working here, you can get your hands in all kinds of technologies and AT&T really is one of the biggest players in the market, so they do things other companies wouldn't attempt. You will learn a lot here if you are willing to do so.

      Cons

Below average compensation, slow to fix problems with the organization

      Advice to Management

Become more nimble, less red tape.
