    I worked at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Backing of large company. Money to invest in employees. Trusted mostly everywhere. Not going away anytime soon. Stellar training.

    Cons

Focused too much on making that sale, yet managers don't give employees time to grow into sales. Leadership so focused on results that they become disconnected from employees and miss out on employees learning to develop themselves in their own way.

    Advice to Management

Ease up. I get that you need to turn a profit, and we all need to be professional, but seriously, the short-term sale isn't as important as the long-term relationship with a customer that will keep returning for the rest of their life. Customers have expressed that when they aren't pushed into everything, they are much more willing to spend bigger dollars.
