I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good hourly rate, very good commission structure (you earn commission on everything you sell, the more you sell the more you earn, no caps.) Hours are flexible and your schedule will change every week. You’ll earn PTO and vacation hours after six months with the company, and you’ll get a raise every six months also depending on your performance.

    Cons

Sometimes the store systems don’t work so well, which makes it hard to deliver an optimal experience to the customers. The late store hours can get tedious after awhile too.

    Advice to Management

Please make our store systems better. We could use a lot of equipment upgrades too.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    No manual labor
    Descent Benefits
    Descent Base Pay
    Service discount

    Cons

They constantly change commission structure. seems they are trying to slowly phase it out.
    No sick days
Sometimes their expectations make no sense (ex. They want you to demo tv service to sell to the customer even though the customer already has AT&T tv service)

    Advice to Management

Stop changing commission! It’s pennies now compare to previous structure
Continue to help coach and train employees to advance in the company

I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good base pay plus commission. 50% off phone bill, big discount off accessories, and other perks. Flexible with scheduling. Can be alot of fun to go into work if you have a fun and energetic team.

    Cons

Always work weekends. Very High Pressure to sell Direct TV and Internet that is out dated at the moment. If you are in a slow store... on slow days it can be pretty boring even with a couch and direct tv.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees and their work life balance. Try to motivate them and feel part of a team. Give constant recognition for success.
