    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I loved my work at AT&T. It was many years ago, under different management.

    Cons

I would love to have continued based in San Francisco without travel requirements. However, that was not the nature of the organization.

    Advice to Management

Be inclusive at all levels - gender, ethnicity, race, age, sexual orientation.

    Cons

    Frequent lay-offs due to restructuring
    Limited recognition

    Advice to Management

Stop communicating that the company needs to cut costs, then spend millions on remodels and unnecessary builds

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good opportunities to grow your career if you are willing to re-locate every couple years. Much of the senior leadership in this company started in an entry level role and worked their way up the ladder. This is a big company with 250K+ employees with lots of networking potential.

    Cons

This company prefers to promote people that are willing to re-locate (even for local positions). This makes sense for the company since it ensures that training and development is focused on talent that is willing to move to wherever the next opportunity is - but it limits opportunities for those that want to stay long term in a specific geography.

I have been working at AT&T (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good Benefits, some departments are flexible, friendly co-workers

    Cons

a lot of nepotism, getting ahead in the company is not about how smart you are or your abilities it's about who you know. People aren't valued, sometimes no work life balance. Not stable, re organizations every year.

IoT; connected devices are very interesting places to work alone with Data analytics
