    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The best reason to work here is the pay, but there is no job security as a bargained employee. At any time they will do a surplus and just like that you are out of a job. The people in my group were great and the corporate location is laid back.

    Cons

There is no job security, you are just a number. The people with more seniority are the ones who don't give their all, and the ones who work are effected.

    Advice to Management

Eliminate the problem employees don't hold those who work accountable for those who don't. This will make the work processes more efficient.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent money considering that the tasks were mindless. I can't think of any company that pays as much for little to no work.

    Cons

Work was monotonous, was on auto pilot, did not have to think - was not allowed to make independent decisions. I could feel myself dumbing down.

    Pros

    Cons

Hard to advance if you don't network. Pay could be better for tenured employees.

    Pros

The Benefits we receive are very good from what I understand from talking to other people in other major corporations and companies. The pay is also good in my opinion based on comparisons with other companies. Our insurance benefits aren't as great as they used to be, but we also don't have to pay for our insurance, and it's provided to us by the Company. There are also numereous other benefits such as Tuition Assistance, VERY GENEROUS Vacation Time off. We also receive bonuses based on profit sharing. Our Company Savings Plan is pretty much second to none. For over Dollar you put in, they match it %66 percent, PLUS you earn interest on top of that! VERY HARD To beat that sort of benefit!

    Cons

The hours aren't very flexible with balancing work and family, but understand because the needs of the business.

    Advice to Management

Would like to see Classic T and Legacy T merge more together so we feel we are TRULY one company now.
