I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company itself is okay to work for, lots of room for advancement. Of course management will directly affect your opinion, but the culture is alright.

    Cons

Lack of any good benefits (medical, dental, vision) and a strict point system attendance policy can make working there financially stressful.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Pay, benefits, discounts on services

    Cons

Scheduling/Shift Bids. Once you work at a call center, that’s the type of jobs you attract when looking for employers. No real reason to move into management, chances of losing your job and stress only increase & the pay increase in neutralized by your increase of hours of work. Transferring out of a call center within 5 years is next to impossible.

    Advice to Management

Good employees don’t stick around when they are herded like like cattle and tagged with numbers and/dollar signs.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is decent from time to time.

    Cons

Schedule is seniority based. Reps are union based whether they want to be apart or not. New focus all the time in areas that don't make commission. Changes monthly. Customer Service is horrible behind the scenes.
