    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are a hard worker and are willing to relocate there are endless opportunities to grow with this company. They teach you how to properly run a retail business from operations, visual merchandising, accounting, and sales.

    Cons

The hours can be pretty grueling at times.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget about the sales force that are in rural areas.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Interesting environment
    Fast paced
    Great Discounts
    Pay
    Learning culture
    Opportunity

    Cons

AT&T stands for at this time and it changes directions like the wind.
    Below average medical insurance.
Extremely high goals cause unnatural behaviors.

    Advice to Management

Stop focusing on full on sales and pretend like it only customer service we are after. It is disengenious and your employees know this. Also talent attrition due to not getting enough pay for lower levels employees. Unions fight for people who should not have their jobs due to being unqualified or unwilling to perform their duties.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, pay scale (unless you go into mgmt.) Managers are not under union as most other workers are. Company surveys employees often and makes changes accordingly. You do feel heard by upper levels of management.

    Cons

Managers have longer hours, more duties, more stress and are not compensated much more than sales reps or sales support reps. Pay is not fair as you progress. All employees in stores have retail hours than can be long and not great for families.

    Advice to Management

Pay managers for the hours and work they put in. Offer holidays and important family days off to tenured reps. Alter holiday hours on store by store basis. Most holodays are super slow in some smaller stores. Paying employees extra to work days when few customers show up is not effective to company's bottom line, nor to holding family's together, especially if employees are only at store to twittle thumbs!

    Pros

Great compensation and amazing training. You are sent to Dallas for 2 weeks, and then have 2 weeks in-store training. The commission structure just changed, but for the better.

    Cons

    Hours differ week by week

    Advice to Management

Communication matters. Would prefer not to close 5 days per week
