I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Most managers are good people. Work/life balance is decent. AT&T can usually be counted on to make good strategic investments and stay focused on long term goals.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy can make it frustrating to get your job done or make you feel like you have to jump through too many hoops. Too much pressure to move to Dallas when there are plenty of other robust locations across the country.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits and regular raises. Nature of work means you're not in the same place all day every day. Because you're on your own most of the time, you learn to problem solve, troubleshoot and come up with potential solutions on your own before immediately having someone else do so for you (but resources do exist).

    Cons

You work in all weather, and in homes of folks that aren't always clean or desirable to be in. Moving out of the SDNA field and into a different area of the company seems somewhat rare.
