I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Potential to make a lot of money
Good schedule when you have been there a while
    Union protection for sales rep

    Cons

Can take a while to move up in the company
Work / Life could be better
REALLY big push on selling TV

    Advice to Management

The aggressive approach to selling TV isn't great. It often times leaves a sour taste in the customer's mouth. Also, look into improving the quality of customer care reps.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to sell honest and good products and services. Get paid pretty well.

    Cons

Way too stressful for the type of job that it is.

    Advice to Management

Always to any management, act like you’ve been in the seller’s shoes before, show a little compassion here and there.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits, Training in Current Technology, opportunity

    Cons

The commission structures, incentives & promotions change very frequently. The company is huge and hard to move laterally in some cases.

    Advice to Management

Push harder for a service minded experience for customers rather than numbers. If the service is exceptional the numbers will be too.

I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits and pay. 401K, cell phone service, DirecTV, and internet. The managemnet is what makes working for AT&T a fun experience

    Cons

AT&T recently fired a lot of people and not working for them is unbareble. Everything is about sales now and upper management got fired and switched out. Being micromangement isn't fun

    Advice to Management

Don't expect every customer to want Tv

I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good hourly rate, very good commission structure (you earn commission on everything you sell, the more you sell the more you earn, no caps.) Hours are flexible and your schedule will change every week. You’ll earn PTO and vacation hours after six months with the company, and you’ll get a raise every six months also depending on your performance.

    Cons

Sometimes the store systems don’t work so well, which makes it hard to deliver an optimal experience to the customers. The late store hours can get tedious after awhile too.

    Advice to Management

Please make our store systems better. We could use a lot of equipment upgrades too.
