    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits in lots of areas.

    Cons

Continuous outsourcing. The 'flattening' of management levels leave employees with meaningless titles. Contingency Planning every few years, look it up.

    Advice to Management

    As if they'd listen...

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I like the people I work with in my location they are more honest than other locations.

    Cons

There is a management disconnect with employees. Definitely could not care less about you as a person. Push to do fraud with a wink and a nod.

    Advice to Management

Clean up you act do the rite thing for your employees and they will have your back.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

AT&T about 5 years ago really took care of their people and pushed to be better.

    Cons

over the course of time I worked there it became all about numbers and it didn't matter how good you did. I was in the top 10% of sales in the entire country for my last 3 years there and it never amounted to anything better. in the top 10% I only made 47k a year. they continually dropped commissions and treated there employees like meat.

    Advice to Management

treat people right and make sure that they are happy because the will work harder for you. and don't cut commission from retail stores when 80% of your revenue comes from them.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits. Fun team mates. Something new and challenging everyday. Tons of awesome resources to further educate yourself. You definitely get what you give.

    Cons

Lots of politics and who knows who.
Many times there was a lack of communication from store management to area management and above.
Not a lot of work life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Better communication

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits, Discounts on services. Free phone and uniforms.

    Cons

Do not take care of their people. Employees are underpaid. Quick to replace you. Has the mindset of finding someone new rather then helping current employees to improve.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your employees

I have been working at AT&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It can be a really fun job, and I have the opportunity to work with people from all over the world every day. The store I work at is located in a fairly busy part of downtown Seattle, so we normally have traffic and manage to stay busy throughout the day. I get to work with a lot of interesting and important people. I have been with the company at that location for a little over a year and a half so a lot of my customers are regulars. I work with several small business owners in the area so I'm always networking.

    Cons

The commission structure changed shortly after I started. Tenured reps took a fairly large paycut.

    Advice to Management

    Provide better compensation for workers.
