I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

lots of different job opportunities potential to move around and advance within company. top management has a solid vision for the future, but may not be able to execute due to regulation, oversight and emlpoyee inertia

    Cons

it's a big company with lots of people scattered all over the country who don't necessarily want to cooperate and stretch a bit to achive the "one AT&T" goal

    Advice to Management

keep pushing your strategy down on the middle management ranks

I have been working at AT&T for less than a year

    Pros

Great pay and perks. Most people were great to work with.

    Cons

Nightmare senior team at DTV. Good thing most of the bad apples have left. Still a few need to go.

    Advice to Management

    Empower people.

    Pros

Good pay, has long term vision.

    Cons

Bureaucratic, silo'd, don't entrust employees to make decisions. Consolidation in Dallas.
