    Pros

    Good pay... discount on your cell phone bill and your directv bill... there are no other benefits it is only a good plave to work of you are a robot

    Cons

    Micromanagement, pay declines as goals increase, bad hours. They expect you to work harder every month while they pay you less and less for what you do.

    Advice to Management

    Make goals realistic and stop asking your employees to make you more money while you cut their pay.

    Good insurance, good insurance, ok hours, looks good on a resume

    Cons

    No level of management is safe- pay changes frequently even in the middle of the month, poor upper management, always speaking about work life balance but no follow thru. ATT cares only about the bottom dollar and not their employees

    Wake up, your strongest asset is your employees with years of experience

    I have been working at AT&T part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Company phone given out anytime a new phone is released.
    Awesome monthly bonuses.
    Out of town training opportunities.
    Uniforms, no figuring out what to wear to work.
    Really great employee discounts on accessories.
    Monthly allotment to purchase accessories to help with up-sales.
    A lot of money to be made if you are hitting your weekly and monthly goals.

    Cons

    Not great if you have children due to hours that vary along with evenings and weekends.
    Holiday work is required.
    Often the company sets unrealistic sales goals for services that may not be popular or even available in your service area i.e. wired services, att uverse.
    Because each customer is expected to evaluate the experience they had with you, things like long wait times, already angry customers, poor signals, drooped calls, or other events that didn't originate in your store all effect your rating from the customer, even if they score your service high and hate att service. Those scores have adverse affects on your bonuses.

    Advice to Management

    My managers were great. They were supportive and helpful in aiding all employees in meeting their goals. No complaints.

    Opportunities are endless for anyone who is flexible & willing to learn & grow personally & professionally.

    Cons

    Overall benefits are not what they used to be (true for most all companies).

    Advice to Management

    Consolidating to large metro areas may be more cost effective, but does not always provide top notch employees.

    Pros

    Very good pay and benefits. We are union there, so that is why. Great training, It seems that each week we have training on something. Great co-workers.

    Cons

    It seems to take a long time to get any suggestions approved through upper management. If you suggest something, it seems like its falling on deaf ears or has already been suggested. Time off could be easier to get.
