    Pros

Nice enough staff. Okay place to focus. Not so busy. It was a non branch though, so that's expecte.

    Cons

    Not a great structure.
Poor communication between the manager and summer students.
No real means of asking for clarification.
My belief is that the direction and goals of management are not known to other levels. It's a bank.
Not my type of work. I'm an innovator. So this review may not apply to your exp.

    Pros

Work life balance was fantastic. It truly didn't feel like work. Job perks were fantastic.
In addition, leadership is easily accessible. You can literally reach out to the CFO and he will actually answer.

    Cons

Compensation is not very competitive- but with that said the development opportunities are immense to improve it.

    Advice to Management

None. I still consider ATB a wonderful place to work given the right advancement opportunities.

    Pros

ATB values customers and gives more authority to their CSR's than other FI's.

    Cons

Branch level management was awful. The majority were friends outside of work and allowed personal relationships to affect work life so there was no opportunities to discuss any issues without fear of repercussions.
Sales targets were growing very aggressive with a much smaller focus on the service half of the job.
Expected to take your work home with you.

    Advice to Management

The tower doesn't crumble from the bottom; if there are problems with front line staff and complaints from their CSM's than it may be beneficial to get all sides of the story instead of just going along with what may be said by superiors. All the tellers I encountered at various branches were awesome at their jobs but very dissatisfied with their managers.
