I have been working at ATR International full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

ATR is a close knit company that often feels more like family than coworkers. Management at every level is approachable and open to feedback. ATR encourages work/life balance because they know how valuable that is to their employees. If someone is looking for a fun and flexible team environment, then I highly recommend ATR!

      Cons

I love interacting with leadership and peers across the company. Any opportunity to see them more is always welcome!

Great benefits and fair compensation offered. Proud to be a member of the ATR team!

      Cons

None that I can think of.

I have been working at ATR International full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Working at ATR has been a great experience for me. I feel as if I have been given a lot of opportunity to grow and succeed in my time here. Here at the Minneapolis office, we have a great team atmosphere. Everyone is willing to help each other out and celebrates each other's successes. It is refreshing to have this kind of culture in an individual contributor role like recruiting. Internal competition can quickly...

      Cons

With ATR being a smaller staffing agency sometimes opportunity to move up in responsibilities can be limited, but the opportunity is there for those that truly work to earn it.

      Advice to Management

Keep striving to have a healthy team environment.

I have been working at ATR International full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

In the Charlotte office, we like to work hard while having fun. The staffing industry can be stressful so its nice that we can have a good laugh while we are working hard! I want to go to work each day and truly enjoy what I do. My immediate manager manages by mentoring and is not a micro-manager. She cares about her job and wants us to be successful. The best manager is the manager who cares about their employees success...

      Cons

Sometimes there are some communication issues with corporate, but that can happen with any company especially since corporate is in California and we are all the way across the country.

      Advice to Management

I think its important for management to continue to focus on making their top producers (on both the recruiting and sales side) happy whether its more opportunities internally, compensation, or other incentives.

I have been working at ATR International full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

ATR has been my favorite company that I've ever worked for. It's small enough to feel like family, yet big enough to have us spread across the country. The work world is constantly changing and I think ATR is changing too. I greatly enjoy all of my coworkers and think the leadership team is transparent.

      Cons

I've seen some recent negative reviews from a disgruntled person. I don't think that's true for all of us.

      Advice to Management

      Keep being flexible and growing!

I worked at ATR International full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Got me an excellent temp to direct job at a very warm and welcoming company in Milpitas, CA. I loved it there. I had to leave for personal reasons otherwise I would have become permanent.

      Cons

Very cold company! Never checked in with except to make sure my timecard was in on time. Payroll messed up on one pay period and it trickled down to the next paycheck, and it took them a month to fix it.

      Advice to Management

Train your HR/Payroll employees to be more compassionate!

      Pros

Coworkers are great. Opportunity for growth.

      Cons

I am going to start by saying that I really enjoy recruiting. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re good at it you can really make something out of it. I used to enjoy recruiting for ATR. However, it’s becoming obvious that ATR is not evolving to the “modern workplace” that almost all other staffing agencies are, specifically flexibility to work from home. I can state a fact that I have seen 5 recruiters leave...

I worked at ATR International full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

We did "team bonding" on the company's tab which always involved beer so that's awesome--nothing like booze on the company tab to encourage effort in the office.

      Cons

Nobody cares—about how they look or about doing their job well: Messy hair including very messy buns like they rolled out of bed. Hello HR? One woman wore clothing that showed an incredible amount of cleavage and her shoulders constantly. Hello HR? I overheard colleagues discussing serious personal political convictions on multiple occasions. This was during work hours and not a private conversation. HELLO HR? Great...
