    Pros

The benefits are good. It is close to home and the highways. Management could use some improvement as does the technology. They do skimp on office equipment and furniture.

    Cons

Some management, communication, distribution of work loads, technology, clarification of chain of command, recognition of employee achievements, employee handbook is completely ignored and some employees can get away with anything with no consequences.

    Advice to Management

Redefine the responsibilities of each employee, department and management. Workloads on each employee and demands on employees is uneven. provide mandatory performance evaluations yearly. Get rid of some dead weight employees

I have been working at AVR Realty full-time

    Pros

    Decent benefits, free coffee

    Cons

Too much gossip and drama. Outburst and yelling matches from workers are a normal occurrence. The favoritism is insane. No leadership. Supervisors gossip with coworkers . Some people would stand around and talk for hours while a selected few actually work. No promotion or raise. People have been there years without a raise.

    Advice to Management

Get people who are not afraid to lead. Acknowledge those who work hard with raises. Do not be afraid to reprimand people who do not follow the rules and have yelling matches with their supervisors. Clean house and start with new talent.

  3. "Hard Work Not Appreciated"

I worked at AVR Realty (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible working hours, no micro management which allows you to plan your own day. Current software applications are kept current; Microsoft Office. Decent benefits.

    Cons

No chance for promotions. People who work hard are just given more work t do. Too much drama in the workplace that is neither controlled or reprimanded. Preferential treatment given to a select few, people who are great at brown nosing but not actually doing much work.

    Advice to Management

Recognize those people who actually know what they're doing and work hard, You have lost too many good people, because they have left on account of the nonsense that is allowed to go on in the office place. That leaves you with just a mediocre work force, no one brilliant.

I have been working at AVR Realty (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent health benefits. Free coffee. Not much more to add to this list. Only writing because there is a 20 word minimum.

    Cons

AVR executives and management do not recognize and incentivize employees. They do not regularly perform annual reviews and raises in salary are hardly given. There are so many employees that have been there for over 5 years that have not seen a raise in their pay checks and their reasoning is that the economy is slow. Executives and management however receive extremely well compensation which includes travel expense, company car, etc.
Office environment... non-existent. Employees are overworked, unfairly treated, and not recognized for their commitment to the company.

    Advice to Management

Learn to appreciate your employees. Incentivizing and rewarding top performers through salary raises and other means of compensation is beneficial for the company! Open your eyes!!! Many of us smile and work hard to get through the day so we can support our families. That does not mean that we are happy working here!
