I worked at AXA Assistance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people and great atmosphere. I think they really do their best to train you. The people were nice and welcoming. Decent pay.

    Cons

Disorganized HR department. I never had a problem with them because I worked through a temp agency but a lot of people always complained about their checks being shorted.

    Advice to Management

I thought my management was fine.

I have been working at AXA Assistance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Family oriented employees. Flexible work schedule.

    Cons

Employees are taken advantage. Over worked and underpaid. No clear direction given. No realistic goals or expectations given to employees. Executive leadership team are not strong or carring of their employees. Company hardly supports their employees or listen to them. Too many politics. Company is loosing a lot of business, respect and good employees. Revolving door of employees. Unstable company to work for. No job security here.

    Advice to Management

New executive leadership team highly recommended in their Illinois location. Not strong at all and don't care about their employees. Employees are over worked and way underpaid. Too much revolving door of employees.

I have been working at AXA Assistance full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The staff is made up of wonderful people but leaving as soon as I can.

    Cons

Too many to list. Management is out of touch with day-to-day operations. They think people are disposable. Loss of contracts without new business coming in. No planning for hiring. CEO in Chicago is arrogant and doesn't appear to care about employees, only his favorites. Can't trust current HR. Systems are out of date and difficult to use.

    Advice to Management

    Wake up!

I worked at AXA Assistance full-time

    Pros

Some incredibly dedicated and talented employees, opportunities to work in a very global arena with coworkers of all backgrounds. Substantial PTO. Opportunities to explore different areas within the company if you have the right connections.

    Cons

Efficiency is the name of the game at AXA Assistance. Entire teams/departments offshored, numerous positions eliminated, new hires brought on to be dismissed months later. Constant, disruptive change is the norm here. Large-scale downsizing never seems to end.

Wages well-below what the market suggests. A market study was conducted to expose huge gaps between market average and AXA's pay scale. The study was supposed to be a great leap forward in employer/employee transparency, but was later swept under the rug.

    Advice to Management

While bottom line is important, your employees should always be #1. Employees are the ones who close sales, service clients/accounts, come up with solutions to streamline processes and keep your most profitable accounts running smoothly. There should be some human element to decision making at AXA. Without it, the distrust between senior management and employees will only continue to grow.
