    - Great environment for growing
    - Many possibilities to learn new things
    - Free unlimited access to university's facilities
    - Mentors from the department are very nice and helpful persons

    Cons

    - Very poor compensation during the study year
    - Poor integration with market, researching for academic purposes
    - Professors are leaving positions and moving to other cities too often

    I worked at Aalto University (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Nice working environment, no bureaucracy, no formalities, good funding opportunities, state provided health cover and other social benefits. Flexible working hours.

    Cons

    The university itself do not have any considerable Cons, but only that in Finland the language is issue. It is very cold most of the year. It is cold or less cold. Summer is just a title. mostly inside life. Salary is just normal, Do not think of saving or growing bank balance.

    I worked at Aalto University (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexibility with timings and work submissions was a great plus at this university located in Espoo region of Finland.

    Cons

    None I could term as a con as everything was perfectly suited for a bachelor's student. I can go on about pros though.

    World-class facility, lot of collaboration, helpful management.

    Cons

    Limited guidance, classroom teaching is negligible.

    Advice to Management

    Put more thrust on teaching, hire less secretaries and more lab experts.

    I have been working at Aalto University part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good Pay, Good hours, Friendly and helpful staff, Supervisors promote learning and make time for employees. As a student worker I get to set my own hours and work when I want as long as I get my work done on time and meet the minimum hour requirement.

    Cons

    I have no complaints about Aalto

    Pros

    Awesome, work experience and treatment of workers

    Cons

    There was problem with the structure of the organization, at times it feel like they were changing policies every 2 months

    Advice to Management

    I guess everything is better know, but try to project trust in your decisions

    Pros

    Working an advanced field, very challenging and not boring work. Many great minds and cutting edge theory in all departments.

    Cons

    It's mostly a contract based university, everyone is competing over the same funding pool. Publish or Perish.

    Advice to Management

    Focus more on developing few critical projects instead of trying to get new projects going all the time.
