      Learning opportunities

      Pros

If you're looking to learn about custom framing, there is plenty of opportunity if you're lucky enough to have a team with experienced framers on it. It can take awhile to actually gain hands-on experiences due to how busy the main floor can be, but it can be worth it.

      Cons

There is no appreciation or support from corporate or upper management for the employees here. Everyone is overworked, underpaid, and stretched very thin.

      Pros

Framing is fun and I bought a lot of great home goods while I worked there.

      Cons

It's retail. 2% of customers are jerks, but they're the ones that occupy your thoughts all day. District managers only in it for themselves. Employees are usually lively, but you're staffing budget is so tiny as to be utterly uncompetitive, so you'll have to scrape the bottom of the barrel at times, or work lots of very long days.
