    Pros

Sundays off. The owner is very nice but only knows the 10 commandments of the store. High turnover in all stores

    Cons

Was lied to 3 times ultimately why I left. Does not encourage out of box thinking to increase sales. Zero reward for hard work that pays off.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your stellar people

    I have been working at Aaron's full-time

    Pros

It's a job, but you might as well work fast food.

    Cons

You're duped into believing that the work is "easy." And, for the most part, it is; however, they work associates like slaves. Every position within a store, including the GM position, requires a lot of manual labor. There is entirely too much micromanagement. The physical demands, pressure to sell, and number of hours required to work each week (there is really no such thing as a 40 hour work week here) are not matched with appropriate pay. There is no quality of life for associates with Aaron's.

    Advice to Management

STOP MICROMANAGING! If a person is promoted into a GM position, let him/her run the store the way they want (within company guidelines), but there is no reason for all of the "looking over the shoulder" that you all do! Also, if you're expecting everyone to leave work physically drained every single day, then you really should budget in higher salaries for store associates.
