    I worked at Aaron's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sundays off. The owner is very nice but only knows the 10 commandments of the store. High turnover in all stores

    Cons

Was lied to 3 times ultimately why I left. Does not encourage out of box thinking to increase sales. Zero reward for hard work that pays off.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your stellar people

I have been working at Aaron's (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Company, Good Pay, Good Benefits

    Cons

Roaches, bad customers, Long Hours 55-60 per wk, lost holiday pay, lost vacation time,
Very physical work, high employee turnover. dwindling health benefits, rising costs.

    Advice to Management

Support your stores, every dollar the company makes comes through the front door of the stores, Top Management should have experience in this industry. Compensation for lost vacation and holiday pay.

    I worked at Aaron's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Always something to do
    Off every Sunday
    Advancement possibilities

    Cons

    Horrible store hours
Always dealing with late paying customers (it's part of the business plan apparently)

    Advice to Management

Focus on following the guidelines instead of chasing numbers..

I have been working at Aaron's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy advancement, bonus opportunities, customer based business that wants to help the customer own the merchandise rather than pick it up, unlike other RTO companies that I have worked for.

    Cons

I honestly can't think of any cons worth mentioning. Working in the Accounts department requires long hours but you are made aware of that up front.

    I worked at Aaron's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Off every Sunday and off by 6 every Saturday. Some opportunity to make commission if sales goals are met. Competitive wages and decent benefits.

    Cons

Poor work environment and customer base. The management at this location loved to gossip, about Aaron's past and current employees and customers. If they spent half the time in the office working vs gossiping, this might be a successful store.

    Advice to Management

Ensure delivery drivers are taking proper precautions to prevent bug infestation.

    I worked at Aaron's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive, fast paced, commission, incentives, discounts, opportunity for advancement, awesome HR that is happy to help you, and vacation.

    Cons

Management, in some cases. Long hours, dealing with the occasional difficult customers, having many tasks needed to be completed on a daily basis, and sales calls and marketing may be difficult for some people.

    Advice to Management

In my case, the GM could have been more active in helping the team. That being said, the well-being of his team should have been more of a priority. Also, placing associates in the correct positions would have helped tremendously.

    I worked at Aaron's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pro was it was close to home and that I got to meet some really awesome people that are family for life

    Cons

I can honestly say everything about that company was horrible. They treat all employees like they are garbage. Also upper management let's racism go and just try to sweep it under the rug instead of taking care of the problem. Also management has a crappy way of dealing with customers and threatens them about losing there merchandise

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat employers. When everyone wants to quit because of one person that's the problem not other employees
