Good mobility in company. Stable, it’s a growing empire so they’re likely to keep you as long as you’re productive. Great benefits
Cons
Time consuming lots of required overtime. Leadership can be very nonchalant about your concerns and needs

Love the highly collaborative culture and how the company is reinventing the large corporation
Dec 8, 2014 - Managing Director in North Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Great onboarding experience, ensuring I had meetings and discussions with the key people and teams important to my role - Outstanding career opportunities globally and a clear philosophy on talent management - Highly competitive salary and benefits - Strong patient focus throughout the business - I know my impact is much greater than impacting a company's bottom line, it is impacting people's health and wellness worldwide - A unique 'All for One' approach to decision making - Outstanding product portfolio and innovation pipeline that will continue to keep the company in a leadership position in the industry
Cons
- A few too many meetings at times due to the scope of project teams and commitment to inclusiveness - Lack of some key processes and workflows as a result of being a newer company that is redefining the way it works and operates - Inconsistent workspace and environment - some workspace is very traditional while other is very modern and open (dependent on location)

Pros
*Depending on which function you report into, this could be a great place to build a career (eg Innovation, Regulatory - great vs Discovery, DevSci - practice extreme caution) *Stable company (not leadership) *Scientific resources and projects *Personal development resources *Compensation *Hybrid work
Cons
*R&D Leadership team and their unchecked bad behavior *HR enablers of R&D leaders who defend all bad decisions versus playing a credible role in ensuring behaviors regardless of positional power align with AbbVie's "ways we work" eg many leaders need intensive remedial "all for one..." training *Decision making is very slow *No transparency which means its very important to work for a leader whose values fully align with yours because it is not uncommon that you will not have an opportunity to influence

High floor
Mar 28, 2023 - Specialty Representative in Phoenix, AZRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits. High salary- high floor
Cons
Incompetent managers. Reps are at the mercy of whatever insurance cover Eha is available to their region. Sales talent is not recognized. Representatives are judged 100 percent on insurance reimbursement. Capped commission. Years on the job and politics are more important than true leadership and sales ability.

Leadership is supportive and caring. People are really nice and great to work with. Benefits are really good, compared to industry standard. It showed that AbbVie cares about the employee.
Cons
Management are overall very conservative, not much innovation and room for improvement
