    Pros

For management, there is good pay, good stock bonuses, good long-term incentives, good benefits, and a retirement pension plan (which most companies no longer offer).

    Cons

There has been a lot of out-sourcing and layoffs, so definitely a "do more with less" environment. It is an increasingly difficult place to work. With the layoffs specifically, the work does not seem to go away, rather it gets piled onto the people who are retained.
I find myself regularly asking if the pay and benefits worth it.

    Advice to Management

Consider the impact of out-sourcing and layoffs. There may be savings on the surface, but it hurts the employee base and morale, which is likely having intangible negative impacts.

I worked at Abbott full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a great opportunity to work for such an amazing and great environment and company. It was a good fit in terms of culture.

    Cons

There was not as much room to grow exponentially. I had a lot of difficulty to get to upper management levels as the market was saturated.

    Advice to Management

I hope they can look forward and see the potential in up coming students and give them an opportunity to grow and learn new tools and software to keep moving up the ladder.
