Pros
1) Large company that has a lot of lateral movement available 2) Online & classroom training programs that were great for learning new marketable skills
Cons
1) If you are not management, you will not be properly evaluated and compensated 2) Company is not proactive about fixing problems. Potential problems are ignored until they become nearly catastrophic. 3) The health benefits are very expensive and bare bones; especially for a company of this size. I worked at small business with better health benefits that were cheaper.

Pros
Fortunately I worked with great ppl most of the time and the benefits were very competitive. There was room to move to different departments if you chose to.
Cons
As with many places, some ppl in management could be challenging in a negative way and it was hard to break into management if you wanted to. Note: my last year was 2003, but the year did not go back that far.
